MCL

Today marks my one week anniversary of having my brace on for one week. I tore my MCL mountain biking two weekends ago in Moab, the greatest place on earth. I was on the Gemini Bridges trail going down a hill. I was going really fast when I hit a rock, I got some awesome air and landed my descent beautifully, unfortunately it was in a sand trap and i wiped out so quick I had no idea what was going on. I heard a pop and i tried to stand up when by leg was wobbly and gave out on me. It has been an interesting week. I have to wear my brace for six weeks but no surgery! Woo Hoo. Hopefully I can get back to biking soon!

Boston

I have come to the conclusion that I am just hooked on having crazy weekends. I drove to Boston this weekend with six kids under the age of eight and a dog. I have been a nanny for a family in orem for about two months now and they were moving to Boston. I can't believe I did it. It was quite an experience and i am grateful that it is done. I have been to 11 states in four days and had 6 hours of sleep in the last four days. Wow! Writing that all down makes it sound even worse, but it as a pretty good experience and it was awesome to see the east coast. i want to live there some day. I had thought about moving to Boston this summer with the family I nanny but after this weekend I decided that I could not do it, so I have to find some other way to get out there.
